About
Grounded in heritage. Driven by impact. Inspired by people.

I’m Jericca Warren — a multidisciplinary creative, researcher, and cultural strategist dedicated to reimagining how destinations are experienced through history, identity, and storytelling. Deeply rooted in the Bay Islands of Honduras, I work in uncovering and elevating cultural narratives that often go untold.
Through my platform Caribbean Honduras, I’ve developed destination guides, authored cultural publications, and produced content that blends historical research with modern storytelling. My work spans gastronomy, tourism, archaeology, and heritage preservation — always with a focus on creating experiences that educate, connect, and inspire.
In addition to cultural work, I take a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to the economic and social challenges of island life. I conducted a comparative analysis of store product prices between Guanaja, Roatan, and mainland Honduras, identifying key barriers to affordability. The findings led to a viable solution: I helped connect business owners in Guanaja with affordable mainland and Roatan-based suppliers, successfully lowering shipping costs and retail prices for the same exact products.
I’ve written for major media outlets, led digital tourism campaigns, and collaborated with both public and private institutions. In 2020, I partnered with the Honduran Institute of Tourism and National Chamber of Tourism on a digital tourism initiative during the lockdown. My work has been featured in Diario La Prensa, Diario El País, Caribella Magazine, Auge Boga Magazine, Diario Tiempo, Teleprogreso, Diario Roatan, and other platforms that recognize my role in reshaping the narrative of Honduran tourism with creativity and purpose.
Currently, I’m developing a documentary series that explores the hidden wonders of the Bay Islands, combining archaeology, oral history, and immersive storytelling. This project reflects a broader mission: to build sustainable, emotionally resonant tourism models that can be adapted across diverse regions and cultures.
I collaborate with purpose — bridging communities, institutions, and stories — to ensure tourism becomes a force for cultural preservation, economic resilience, and long-term development.
