Cultural and Archaeological Tourism Development for the Bay Islands of Honduras

I developed a case study titled Cultural and Archaeological Tourism Development for the Bay Islands of Honduras, which explores the potential of using heritage-based tourism as a sustainable development tool. The study identifies key archaeological sites, intangible cultural assets, and underrepresented historical narratives across the islands, offering strategies to responsibly integrate them into the tourism economy. It serves as both a research-driven framework and an advocacy tool to promote cultural preservation while enhancing the region’s tourism offer.
